I live in Kentucky. This is just one of the many I can think of off the top of my head. At lunch in high school, I sat across from a guy and a girl (let's call them C and M). They were together and M was very pregnant. I got to know them somewhat well. M was ready to settle down and take care of the child, but C was not ready to be a parent. He wanted to drink and party while she stayed home. Luckily, she later left him and I imagine she made the right choice for the child. I was thinking one day,... I live in Kentucky. Luckily, she later left him and I imagine she made the right choice for the child. I was thinking one day, God, why did they keep it? I started a conversation with them about the pregnancy and how they were doing and eventually C started really talking, and this is what slipped out of his mouth:
“I just really wish I hadn't relied on pot seeds as contraception.”
“….…What?” I asked incredulously.
“Yeah,” he continued, “I heard smoking the seeds made you infertile so we just did that. But here we are!”
They kissed and my jaw all but dropped. I have absolutely nothing against teen parents or cannabis, but are you fucking kidding me?
